Join us for the first member social of the financial year in Birmingham. This relaxed evening will bring together sustainability professionals from across the region for drinks, nibbles and open conversation.

One of the many benefits of UKGBC’s membership is the opportunity to connect with other professionals working towards a more sustainable built environment. Our Member Social Series brings members together across the UK in a relaxed and informal setting, creating space for meaningful conversations, knowledge sharing and new connections.

The socials offer a valuable opportunity to engage with local perspectives, share experiences and strengthen connections within the UKGBC community.

The member social in Birmingham will have the Whole Life Carbon Framework as the core theme. Building on our seminal 2019 framework – from which the NZCBS evolved – this update provides practice guidance for reducing whole life carbon in buildings across all the RIBA stages. The 鈥榟ow-to鈥� framework is free to use and is designed to be really accessible for all users. At a wider level, it will help industry understand whole life carbon reduction as the driver of value and resilience, energy efficiency and optimisation and creating those better buildings that we need.
